Iqbal: Consequences of current crisis continue without vision over future of political process

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Mohamed Iqbal, of the Iraqiya Slate pointed out “The consequences of the political crisis continue without getting any clear vision over the future of the political crisis in the next stage especially as we join the next Provincial Councils elections.”

Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), he said “The PCs elections will make all sides adherent to their stances to indicate their masses that they are adherent to their principals which are in reality interests rather than principals.”

“The Iraqiya Slate is not the only side concerned with the political disputes where there are disputes between the Federal Government and the Kurdistani Regional Government, between the State of Law Coalition and the Kurdistani Alliance as well as between the Iraqi National Alliance and the Iraqiya Slate,” he assured.

“There is no clear vision inside the key Slates over the future steps in case the crisis witnessed no solution,” he mentioned.

“All sides look for the President, Jalal Talabani, to hold the national meeting but we heard that Talabani has reservations over the decisions of the Council of Ministers like the formation of Dijla Operations Command and this complicate the crisis because Talabani is a pivotal figure whom all sides depend on to settle the crisis,” he concluded.
