Shubar: No progress in 2013 General Budget

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Ali Shubar, of the Citizen bloc accused some political sides of “Strengthening their political blocs for the next elections regardless the Iraqis’ interests.”

In a press statement received by IraqiNews.com on Monday, he said “Many political blocs aim to stop the progress of Iraq regardless the interests of the Iraqi people.”

“The 2013 General Budget has not progress as promised by the government by lack of the allocations for establishing Basra province as the Economic Capital of Iraq, the Students’ grant and the Retirement law,” he added.

“Unfortunately some sides aim to strengthen their political blocs for the next elections by neglecting the suffering of the Iraqi people,” he concluded.
