MP expects intense rivalry with proximity of next local lections
Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP Iman al-Mohammadi of the Iraqiya Slate expected intense rivalry among the political blocs with proximity of the local elections, noting that the political arena will witness creation of new alliances among the major parliamentary blocs.
Mohammadi of Anbar province told IraqiNews.com “New alliances will emerge to take part in the next local elections stressing “There will be many alliances on level of the major parliamentary blocs while new alliances will also be formed to represent new political parties in Anbar province.”
The Council of Ministers has specified 20th, April, 2013 a date for launching the local elections.
