Urgent – .2 IEDs target senior Security official in Mosul

Nineveh (IraqiNews.com) Two IEDs exploded targeting Director General of Nineveh Police Department while he was inspecting the spot of the incident that targeted the house of MP Wisal Saleem of the Iraqiya Slate in Mosul province.

A security source told IraqiNews.com on Tuesday “Two IEDs blew up, 15 meters to the Director General of Nineveh Police, Maj. Gen Ahmed al-Jubouri in Maliya neighborhood of eastern Mosul.”

“The two explosions did not cause any injuries or material damages,” the source added.

Earlier on Tuesday morning, a security source has reported that “A car bomb has been exploded targeting MP Saleem’s house resulted in injuring 7 civilians who were accidently near the incident place.”
