Najaf Investment Commission seeks to end housing crisis
Najaf (IraqiNews.com) The Chairman of Najaf Investment Commission, Wafi al-Bahash, announced that the commission seeks to end the housing crisis in the province by granting as many as possible of investment licenses for companies specialized in constructing housing complexes.
The commission’s chairman stated to IraqiNews.com on Tuesday ”The commission granted 38 licenses in housing sector which will provide about (54,000) housing units with cost of USD four billion, stressing that ”The commission will conduct strict procedures against any company violates the terms agreed upon.”
The statement pointed out that ”The people of the province believe that the prices do not meet their expectations and only rich people may afford these housing units.” \
