Diyala clubs council boycotts Olympic elections

Diyala, Baquba (IraqiNews.com) Sport Clubs Council in Diyala province decided to boycott the elections of the Olympic Committee.

The Chairman of the Council, Haythem Abdul Satar, stated to IraqiNews.com on Tuesday ”The sport clubs in Diyala province decided to boycott the elections of the Olympic committee which is scheduled to be held at the beginning of 2013.”

The Sport Clubs Council in Najaf province also decided few days ago to boycott the Olympic committee elections due to its violation for rules of elections, according to them.

It is worth to be mentioned that the Secretary of the Ministry of Youth and Sport, Usam al-Dewan, criticized the rules of the Olympic Committee elections and recommended the Youth Parliamentary Committee to supervise the Olympic elections.
