Urgent – Dabbagh accuses Maliki’s Media Advisor of defaming him

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The former spokesperson of the government, Ali al-Dabbagh, accused the advisor of the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, for the Media Affairs of conducting a media campaign to defame him.

Dabbagh stated in a message sent to Maliki on Thursday “Your advisor for the Media Affairs conducted a campaign to defame me.”

“It is very hard to continue in my post due to the enmity that I face and I accept your decision over this issue,” he added.

“I worked with you for more than six years where I was adherent to do my duty in the best way,” he concluded.

Earlier, the government dismissed Dabbagh from his post as the spokesperson of the government.
