Citizen bloc calls government to cooperate with parliament over corruption of armament deal with Russia

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Citizen bloc called the government to cooperate with the parliamentary committees formed to investigate over the corruption accompanied the armament deal with Russia.

A statement by the bloc recited by MP, Mohammed al-Laqash cited on Saturday “It is too early to point out to the names of the corrupted officials in this issue,” calling the “Integrity Committee and the Security and Defense Committee to expedite the investigation over this issue to submit the final report to the parliament.”

He also called “The government to cooperate with the Committee formed to investigate in this issue in order to show its real role to the Iraqi people.”
