Four terms of three presidencies to create dictatorship, says MP

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Hussein al-Mansouri, of al-Ahrar bloc within the Sadr Trend stated that four terms for the three presidencies will create a new dictatorship in Iraq.

He stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “Al-Ahrar bloc has called to limit the terms of the three presidencies into two terms only,” noting that “The Premier, Nouri al-Maliki always ignores this issue.”

“Some of the MPs of the State of Law Coalition support this issue,” he concluded.

Earlier, al-Ahrar bloc called to limit the terms of the Prime Minister into two terms only.
