New Serious Crime Unit building opened in Diala

DIALA / IraqiNews.com: A new building for the Serious Crime Unit on Saturday was inaugurated in Diala province during a ceremony attended by several local officials, a local police chief said. “Today, Diala’s police department held a huge ceremony attended by Diala Governor Raad Rasheed al-Mulla, municipal council members and several security officials,” Staff Maj. Gen. Abdelhussein al-Shamri told IraqiNews.com news agency. The unit, headed by Maj. Hisham al-Tamimi, undertakes several tasks and duties.
