Nusaiyf calls to change Kurdistan Region’s share of federal budget into 13%

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP Aliya Nusaiyf of the Iraqiya Hurra Coalition called the executive authority to decrease the share of Kurdistan Region within the federal budget to 13% instead of being 17%.

Nusaiyf pointed out that “The actual share of the Region from the annual budget is 13% but it was increased to 17% to be adopted till conducting the census.”

She called “the Kurdistan Regional Government to pay back the extra amounts that the Region acquired during the adoption of 17%.”
