Eight explosive belts seized in southern Baaquba

DIALA / IraqiNews.com: Diala police on Sunday seized eight explosive belts ready for use in southern Baaquba city, according to the province’s police commander. “The belts were seized in a military operation today south of Bohroz district, 5 km south of Baaquba,” General Abdilhussein al-Shemmary told IraqiNews.com news agency. “Police forces were also able to defuse five roadside bombs in the same area, and seized large quantities of ammunition,” he added.
