Two drug addicts sentenced to imprisonment

DUHUK / IraqiNews.com: Two men on Sunday were sentenced to imprisonment for possessing and taking drugs, according to the lawyer of the convicts. “The Criminal Court in Duhuk has sentenced a Turkish national to 14 years’ imprisonment for possessing drugs under the Iraqi Anti-drug Law,” Mohammed Hassan Omar told IraqiNews.com news agency. “Meanwhile, an Iraqi national was sentenced to four years in jail for taking drugs,” Omar added. “The two were arrested in separate incidents six months ago,” Omar noted.
