Diyala governor criticizes traditional education methods

Diyala, Baquba (IraqiNews.com) The Governor of Diyala province, Umar al-Hamiri, stated that “The education situation in the province has suffered many serious setbacks which negatively affected its level.”

The government demanded in statement received by IraqiNews.com ”To task the local government with the education file in the province,” criticizing “The traditional methods adopted in educational process.”

“Hamiri also called to establish schools for outstanding students,” the statement added.

The new national strategy for education and higher studies in Iraq has been launched on December 8th. \
