Damalouji: current political crisis fabricated to cover defects

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Iraqiya Slate described the crisis between the Iraqi Central Government and Kurdistan Regional Government as fabricated and aims at covering up other crises including corruption spread.

The Spokesperson of the IS, Maysoun al-Damalouji, stated to IraqiNews.com “The current political crisis is clearly fabricated and aims to cover the other crises that sweep the country including the corruption cases such as the scandals of the Central Bank of Iraq and the armament deal with Russia as well as the resolution of canceling the Ration Card.”

She added “The crisis started to fade away by the initiative of the Speaker, Osama al-Nijaifi, which represents the initiative of the IS in general when it renounced the bloodshed and called to resort to dialogue to get rid of the growing crisis, but the problem lies in lack of good will that hinders reaching consensuses.”
