Turkmen leader calls Maliki to protect Turkmen areas in Kirkuk

Kirkuk (IraqiNews.com) The leader within the Iraqi Turkmen Front, Ammar Kahiya, called “The Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, to deploy security forces in the areas of Turkmen in Kirkuk on the background of the explosions took place in the province on last Sunday.

He stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “We call Maliki as being the Commander General of the Armed Forces to send security forces to the areas that witness series of bombings on last Sunday.”

“We call to deploy new forces in these areas because the current forces failed to protect them,” he concluded.
