Hakim celebrates global day to combat violence against women

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The office of the head of the Supreme Iraqi Islamic Council, Ammar al-Hakim, conducted a celebration on occasion of the Islamic global day to combat violence against women.

The celebration was attended by the Minister of Woman, Ibtehal al-Zaydi, and the Head of the Woman Parliamentary Committee, Intesar al-Jeburi, in addition to several Parliamentary members, civil society organizations, community organizations and activists in the field of women rights. \
