Enrolling Iraq within most corrupt countries represents great disaster, says MP
Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP Khalid Abdullah al-Alwani expressed his regret over Iraq’s occupying for the fourth place within the most corrupt countries among the Arab countries.
Alwani cited that “Enrolling Iraq within the list of the first countries in corruption represents a great disaster in the history of Iraq where it became parallel to the developing countries which suffer poverty and starvation such as Somalia.”
We call to “form supervisory commissions within the state institutions to reveal the corruption cases.”
It is worth mentioning that the World Transparency Organization has revealed in a report the index of corruption rate in 176 in 2012 countries around the world including ten Arabic States where Iraq occupied the fourth on level of the Arab countries, and the 170th place globally.
