Official demands to speed up endorsement of 2013 State Budget

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP Majida al-Temimi demanded members of the Parliament to accelerate the endorsement of 2013 Federal State Budget before the end of 2012.

She reported in statement to IraqiNews.com ”The law of the federal budget of 2013 must be endorsed before 31/12/2012 so the ministries would not have reasons to justify negligence in their work,” pointing out that ”The ministers always attribute negligencting of their duties to the delay in the endorsement of state budget.”

The political arena witnesses from time to time some wide complex differences that impact the endorsement of the state financial budget.

The Council of Ministers has endorsed the budget law draft of 2013, which reached (138) trillion, on October 23, while the Iraqi Parliament is still discussing the law project of the State Budget for 2013. \
