Urgent – SLC suspends membership of MP Asadi

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The political committee of the State of Law Coalition, announced suspending the membership of MP, Hussein al-Asadi, due to his inappropriate statements against the religious authority.

The semi-official Iraqiya satellite channel stated “The political committee of the SLC held a meeting on Thursday and decided to suspend the membership of MP Asadi.”

Earlier, Asadi described the religious authority in Najaf as “Non government organizations” which provoked many political blocs.
