IS MP: IS’s meeting over Esawi’s issue behind postponing Sunday’s parliament session

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Raad al-Dahlaki, of the Iraqiya Slate stated that the meeting of the IS that was held on Sunday is behind postponing the parliament session.

Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), he stated “The IS held an important meeting on Sunday which resulted in the lack of the quorum to the parliament session and postponed it.”

“The MPs of the IS discussed in their meetings many political issues, particularly Esawi’s issue in addition to announcing the formal stance over the demonstrations in Anbar and Salah il-Din provinces,” he added, assuring that “This issues does not only target Esawi, but it targets the IS.”

“This issue must be fixed and many other issues must be settled such as endorsing the General Amnesty law draft,” he pointed out, noting that “A specialist committee was formed to discuss this issue with the other blocs.”
