Maliki congratulates Christians on occasion of Christmas

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, congratulated the Christians in the world and in Iraq in particular on the occasion of Christmas.

A statement by Maliki’s office received by IraqiNews.com quoted him, as saying “I would like to congratulate the Iraqis all over the world on the occasion of Christmas, asking the Almighty to make this occasion a chance to consolidate unity brotherhood and intimacy among the Iraqis and to spread peace and security to all the peoples of the world.”
