Soon: New big popular market in Basra
BASRA / IraqiNews.com: Basra’s reconstruction and services support committee on Saturday commenced reconstruction work on the province’s biggest popular market in Khamsa Meal area, according to the committee’s official spokesperson. “The market is designed to embrace 700 shops on an area of 32,000 square meters,” Rasheed al-Fahad told IraqiNews.com news agency. “Services, such as water, electricity and sewage systems, will be supplied to the market,” he added.
