Iraqi Electricity Ministry, French Schneider Co. conclude contract to establish 20 power stations
Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Iraqi Ministry of Electricity concluded a contract with the French Schneider Company to establish 20 secondary power stations of 11/33 kv capacity.
The Spokesperson of the Ministry, Musab al-Mudaris, said that “These power stations will be divided on provinces of Basra, Dhi Qar, Maysan, Muthanna, and at total cost of $ 74 million.”
“The stations will help stabilize the voltage and ease the load on many southern areas especially during the summer,” he concluded.
