Ration cards to be given for free Mon. – ministry

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The Iraqi trade ministry on Sunday advised citizens not give pay any fees in return for receiving the new ration cards for the year 2009, to be distributed all over the country as of Monday. “As of tomorrow (Jan. 12) ration cards for the year 2009 will be given for free,” the trade ministry’s media director, Mohammed Hannoun, told IraqiNews.com news agency. Hannoun called on all citizens to report any violations during the new card distribution process, planned to continue until February 12. AmR (P) 1
