Hakim: Accepting others makes us real followers of Imam Hussein
Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Head of the Supreme Iraqi Islamic Council, Ammar al-Hakim, stated “If we want to be the followers of Imam Hussein, we will have to accept the others to build Iraq.”
A statement by the SIIC received by IraqiNews.com cited “Hakim participated in the rituals accompanying the pilgrims from Najaf to Karbala provinces on the occasion of Arbaeen of Imam Hussein where he assured that the message of Imam Hussein is a message of accepting the others to achieve the peace and virtue.”
“The message of the pilgrims heading to Imam Hussein started to spread in the Arabic and international communities,” he added, noting that “The participation of all the sects of the Iraqi people express the intimacy and brotherhood among them.”
He appreciated “The efforts of the solaces that provide services to the pilgrims coming to Karbala.”
