Mayahi warns from politicizing Anbar citizens’ demonstrations by Qaeda

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Aziz al-Mayahi, of the White bloc warned from politicizing Anbar citizens’ demonstrations by the armed groups related to Qaeda organization.

He stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “The demonstration deviated from its local essence and were exploited unsightly by lifting images of the former regime, old flag, the flag of Syrian Free Army and the images of the Turkish PM, Recep Tayib Erdogan, in addition to the sectarian slogans that urge for sectarian violence.”

“This does not represent the reality of Anbar citizens and tribes that have great honorable history in fighting terrorism and dismissing Qaeda,” he mentioned.

“The participation of some politicians in these demonstrations that launched sectarian statements despite being part of the political process and Government show their foreign agenda and their plots to foil the political process,” he concluded. .
