2 huge contracts made in ISX

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Two private transactions were made with over 500 million shares during the Iraqi Stock Exchange (ISX) session today. The first transaction, worth 467.99 million shares, was made over the Baghdad Soda Company at a value of 1.05 Iraqi dinars per share; while the second, worth 76.496 million shares, was made over Warka Bank at a value of 1.3 Iraqi dinars per share. The stock market opened its session this morning, the second this week, with one contract worth 500,000 shares. The contract was concluded by an Iraqi company, which bought the shares from the North Bank at a value of 2.85 Iraqi dinars per share (1 U.S. dollar = 1,118 Iraqi dinars). The Iraqi Stock Exchange, established under Law No. 74 of the year 2004, held its first session on June 24, 2004. The stock market holds three sessions a week: Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday. SS (P) 1
