MP calls to investigate importing expired medicine to Diyala province

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Raad al-Dahlaki, of Diyala province called the Ministries of Finance and Health to investigate importing expired medicine through Barwiz Khan outlet to Diyala province.

Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) on Wednesday, he said “Barwiz Khan outlet is opened to the importation of the expired medicine to Diyala province without any observation by the government which threaten the lives of the people.”

He called “The parliament, the Parliamentary Health Committee and the Health Ministry to form a joint committee and head to Diyala province to check on this issue.”

He also called “The Finance Ministry to issue terms and conditions to the outlets especially Barwiz Khan outlet to control the importation of the medicine and stop importing the expired ones.”
