FM, Italian ambassador confer new harbor

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: During his meeting with the Iraqi foreign minister on Wednesday, the Italian ambassador to Iraq said that there is currently an Italian delegation visiting the country and taking part in negotiations with officials from the Iraqi ministries of planning and transport regarding Al-Faw Big Port project. “The Iraqi Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari received the Italian ambassador to Iraq today , and discussed with him the Iraqi-Italian relations, and methods of reinforcing them,” said a release issued by the Iraqi Foreign Ministry and received by IraqiNews.com news agency. “The Italian ambassador expressed his government’s interest in participating in rebuilding Iraq,” it added.
