White Bloc MP criticizes Nijaifi’s call for holding urgent session on Sunday

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP Ahmed al-Erebi of the White Bloc described the call of the Iraqi Parliament’s Speaker, Osama al-Nijaifi over holding an urgent session on next Sunday as improper step and does not spring from good will to address problems.

Erebi stated to Iraqi News “There are some politicians, who are part of the political process, participated in Anbar and Mosul demonstrations where the Finance Minister, Rafa al-Issawi delivered a speech in the Anbar demonstrations which witnessed raising the old Iraqi flag and that of what is so-called the Iraqi Free Army,” noting that “Those figures are already associated with foreign agendas that aim to disturb the political process in Iraq.”

The demonstrations and sit-ins are still going forward for two weeks in Anbar, Salah il-Din and Nineveh provinces, demanding for releasing the prisoners and women detainees as well as canceling the article 4 of the Anti-Terrorism Law besides other demands.
