Ministry urges solid refuse recycling

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The Iraqi Ministry of Municipalities and Public Works has called to extend a solid refuse recycling project throughout the country, saying it will help in the production of energy and fertilizers. “Minister Riyadh Ghareeb highlighted the need for everyone’s contribution to prevent the dumping of industrial and dangerous pollutants in the rivers,” according to a ministerial statement received by IraqiNews.com news agency. “Refuse treatment stations will be installed to get rid of it,” the statement quoted the minister as saying.
