Maliki congratulates IA, Iraqi people on anniversary of IA establishment

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Commander General of the Armed Forces, the PM Nouri al-Maliki, congratulated the Iraqi people and the Iraqi Army personnel on occasion of the 92th anniversary of the IA establishment.

A statement by Maliki’s office quoted him as saying “We would like to congratulate the Iraqi people and the brave Iraqi Army on occasion of the anniversary of establishing the IA,” noting that “The bold IA achieved greatest epics to preserve the security accomplishment to defeat the terrorism and the remnants of the extremist groups.”

Iraq celebrates the anniversary of the IA establishment that was established on 6th January, 1921.
