Urgent – Head of Diyala University survives assassination

Diyala (IraqiNews.com) The head of Diyala University, Abbas al-Dulaimi, survived assassination in al-Mafraq area in central Baquba city on Thursday.

Security source stated to IraqiNews.com “Dulaimi survived assassination when two roadside bombs exploded targeting his motorcade,” noting that “The explosion resulted in killing two of his guards and injuring three others.”

“The security forces blocked the explosion area, transferring the injured to the hospital for treatment and the dead to the morgue,” the source concluded.
