Peshmerga: Baghdad, Erbil to hold another meeting in Baghdad over crisis

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Peshmerga Ministry within Kurdistan Regional Government announced that a delegation from Kurdistan Region is scheduled to visit Baghdad on Sunday to meet the delegation of the federal government so as to confer about settling the tensions between Baghdad and Erbil.

Maj. Gen. Jabaar Yawar, the member of the delegation and the spokesperson of the command general of Kurdistan Region protection forces, said that “After conducting several meetings by the mutual action commission between Kurdistan Region government and the central government, another meeting will be held between both sides in Baghdad.”

“During the last meetings, we agreed on some common points and also disagreed upon other views, so the meetings between both parties are going on to reach a compromise for the current crisis,” Yawar added.
