Hakim stresses necessity of performing parliament natural role in settling disputes
Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The head of the Supreme Iraqi Islamic Council, Ammar al-Hakim, stressed the necessity of performing the parliament natural role in settling the disputes witnessed in the Iraqi political scene.
A statement by the SIIC received by IraqiNews.com cited “Hakim received the head of the State of Law Coalition parliamentary bloc, Khalid al-Mulla, and emphasized setting clear mechanism for the parliament to solve the disputes.”
“Both sides exchanged their views over the parliament legislative and supervisory role especially the important laws,” the statement concluded.
