4 thousand food containers arrives Iraq

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The Iraqi ministry of trade on Wednesday announced that 4000 containers full of five basic food items arrived Iraq through Umm-Qasr port, for the purposes of food stuff card, according to a release issued by the ministry. “The current process of delivering the containers’ contents from the port is taking place,” the release that was received by IraqiNews.com news agency quoted Nouri Fajr, the director general of the state company for food stuff commerce as saying. “A plan was put to distribute the containers over provinces,” he said. “The ministry is committed to continue distributing the items of the food stuff card during 2009,” he added.
