Central markets’ sales exceed $1.3m. in December 2008

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The sales of central markets all over Iraq have exceeded $1.3 million U.S. dollars in December 2008, 800 percent higher than sales figures reported in the same month of the previous year, the Trade Ministry said on Thursday. “The Central Markets Company has signed several contracts with Iraqi, Arab and foreign companies to sell their products in Iraqi central markets in return for merchandising dutires.” a ministerial statement received by IraqiNews.com news agency quoted the general director of the company of as saying.
