constitutional violations behind request of investigating Maliki, says MP

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP Ahmed al-Masari of the Iraqiya Slate confirmed that “The request of investigating the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, came due to constitutional violations.”

Masari told Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) on Wednesday “Some of those violations are related to human rights file and the application of some laws.”

He added “The request of investigating Maliki was submitted by the IS MP Salman al-Jumaili and signed by majority of the political blocs.”

Concerning possibility of dissolving the Parliament, Masari clarified that “The Parliament cannot be dissolved unless the majority of the parliamentary blocs approve this proposal.”
