8 tons of rotten food materials confiscated in Najaf

Najaf (IraqiNews.com) The health control teams in Najaf province confiscated tons of spoiled food materials.

Director of the Health & Care Department in Najaf, Najih al-Qazaz, told IraqiNews.com “While conducting the daily inspection campaigns, the medical control teams discovered about (8) tons of different foods that are not suitable for human consumption.”

“The confiscated foods were imported from countries like Turkey, Iran and Syria and they were wasted in cooperation with teams from anti-economic crime department,” the director added.
