8 wanted individuals arrested in Maysan

Maysan, Amara (IraqiNews.com) The directorate of security checkpoints and highways in Maysan province announced arresting eight wanted individuals according to various law articles.The directorate reported in statement received by IraqiNews.com on Sunday ”The directorate of security checkpoints and highways within Maysan police department arrested a wanted individuals according to the article (4) of Anti- Terrorism law after following up them,” noting that “The detainees were referred to the Anti-Organized Crime directorate.””The security checkpoints of Kahlaa area, (25 KM) to the southeastern of Amara city, arrested three wanted who face judicial arrest warrants according to the article (443) related to robbery and the law article (421) related to abduction and they were referred to investigation authorities to conduct the legal procedures against them,” the statement added.”The security checkpoints of Ali Gharbi area, (90 KM) to the north of Amara city, managed to arrest three persons accused of committing robbery and arrested a person hold the Turkish nationality whose resident’s period is expired and they all were delivered to the specialized directorates to conduct the legal procedures against them,” the statement concluded. \
