FG, SLC responsible for foreign interferences in Iraqi affairs, says Taha

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Shwan Mohamed Taha, of the Kurdistani Democratic Party, headed by the President of Kurdistan Region, Masoud Barzani, holds “The Federal Government and the State of Law Coalition, headed by the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, responsible for the foreign interferences in the Iraqi internal affairs.”

He stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “The FG and the SLC failed in building the Iraqi State and unifying the political sides so they are responsible for the foreign interferences in the Iraqi internal affairs.”

“The instability of the political situation negatively affected all the departments of the State,” he added, noting that “It is odd to criticize the foreign interferences while we create justifications for them.”

“We are unable to solve the internal disputes so we accuse the others of hurdling the solutions,” he concluded.

Earlier, the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, criticized the recent statements of the President of Kurdistan Region, Masoud Barzani, and the Turkish Foreign Minister, Ahmed Davutoglu, over the demonstrations in some Iraqi provinces.

It is worth mentioning that Barzani announced his absolute support for the demonstrators’ legitimate demands that conform the constitution.

Turkey considered that the policy of the Iraqi Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, of marginalizing other political sides and Iraqi communities led to the crises and the tensions in Iraq.

Turkish News Agency quoted the Turkish Foreign Minister, Ahmed Davutoglu, as saying “Maliki’s policy in targeting the national figures in Iraq resulted in tension that could be turned into armed conflicts.”

“Targeting figure like the Vice-President, Tariq al-Hashimi, and the Finance Minister, Rafi al-Esawi, who have honorable patriotic records then creating the disputes between the Central Government and the Kurdistani Regional Government increased the deterioration of the situation in Iraq,” he mentioned.
