Khalil: KA supports endorsing Federal Court law

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Member of the Kurdistani Alliance announced that the Kurdistani Alliance is supporting the endorsement of the Federal Court law but ruled out endorsing it during Tuesday session because some political blocs object its current draft.

Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), he said “This law needs a political accord among the blocs to endorse it since every article within the law needs votes of 217 MPs to endorse it.”

“KA stresses the importance of endorsing this law because it is considered as a public and constitutional demand,” he added.

“KA MPs will vote on endorsing the formation of the new Federal Court,” he concluded.

Earlier, MP, Raad al-Dahlaki, of the Iraqiya Slate confirmed that the IS will vote on the Federal Court law to endorse it during the session of Tuesday.

It is worth mentioning that the political blocs failed in endorsing the Federal Court law due to the disputes among them over some of its articles.
