2 persons planning bomb attack nabbed
KIRKUK / IraqiNews.com: Police forces on Saturday foiled an explosive charge attack in southwestern Kirkuk city, according to a local security source. “A 100-meter wire that was connected to the explosive device has led police forces to two persons who had a remote control in their possession to detonate it,” the source told IraqiNews.com. “The two persons were arrested and investigations are currently underway,” he added. Kirkuk, the capital city of Kirkuk province, lies 250 km northeast of the capital Baghdad. SS (P) 1
