IS boycott for parliament to create new crisis, says Shubar

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP Ali Shubar of the Citizen Bloc stressed that “The request of the Iraqiya Slate to replace the Premier Nouri al-Maliki is premature where it will complicate the tensed situation.”

Shubar stated to Iraqi News “The Iraqiya Slate is supposed to play role in resolving the crisis where there are earnest efforts are being exerted by the Iraqi National Alliance and some political blocs’ leaders to reach solutions for the political problems.”

“It is necessary to avoid escalating the crisis through threatening to boycott the parliament as the IS did since the crisis cannot be addressed through the withdrawal from the parliament sessions,” he added.

Shubar continued saying “It s possible to summon the Premier at the parliament, but as for the IS withdrawal from the parliament it would create new crisis.”

The IS has threatened on last Saturday to boycott the Parliament regular sessions in case of not meeting the demonstrators’ demands.
