Saad warns from soon humanitarian crisis in Basra

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Suzan al-Saad, of Basra province warned the Federal Government from a soon humanitarian crisis in Basra.

In a statement by her received by IraqiNews.com, she said “The violations of the other provinces for the water share of Basra province made Basra suffering from pollution and high percentage of salt in its water.”

She called “The Government to pressurize the other provinces to adhere to their shares of water.”

“Erecting Water purifying stations through a strategic plan will solve this crisis,” she added.

“The scarcity of water and the ruined water nets resulted in mixing the potable water with the drainage water in some public areas,” she concluded.
