MP calls Maliki to form police forces from Turkmen Community

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Qasim al-Araji, of the Parliamentary Security and Defense Committee called the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, to form police forces from the Turkmen Community to protect their areas.

He stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “I call Maliki to form police forces from the Turkmen Community to protect their areas and achieve the balance in the formation of the armed forces in the areas of the Turkmen majority.”

Earlier, the Turkmen MPs called to bring justice to their case and consider Tuz Khurmatu as a subject to disaster area after witnessing a series of bombings.
