Police detain 6 wanted men in Kirkuk

KIRKUK / IraqiNews.com: Police forces arrested six wanted men during a security operation in southwest of Kirkuk, the chief of the local police said on Thursday. “Policemen late Wednesday (Jan. 7) arrested six wanted men during a crackdown operation in al-Shurouiya, al-Kifahiya and Diek Taba villages in southwest of Kirkuk,” Brig. Sarhad Qader told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The forces also seized three Katyusha rockets and 25 cannonballs and a huge amount of TNT,” he added. “The operation continued for more than 12 hours,” he noted.
