Parliament to dismiss Youth Minister if decline to attend investigation session

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP Mohamed Ridha al-Khafaji of the Ahrar bloc associated to the Sadr Trend stressed that “The MPs agreed on dismissing or withdrawing confidence from the Minister of Youth and Sports in case he will not attend the investigation session at the Parliament.”

Khafaji stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “The Constitution is based on respecting all the constitutional institutions in the country where the Parliament is the highest state constitutional institution.”

“The investigation is a democratic process,” he added arguing “The investigated official does not fear of investigation unless there is indication for his involvement in corruption cases.”
