Kurdish MP criticizes Iraqi Government’s approval on issuing private amnesty
Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP Lateef Mustafa of the Kurdistani Alliance criticized the approval of the Iraqi Government on granting the private amnesty, noting that “This amnesty will harm the Government primarily and ruin the state.”
Mustafa stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “The private amnesty is issued for individual states and should not be granted for those whom their parents waive their crimes,” pointing out “The private amnesty cannot be issued for those convicted of terrorism and corruption.”
The Premier Nouri al-Maliki has approved on last Tuesday on including all the women detainees unconditionally in the private amnesty.
